Overview: This individual will be responsible to lead the implementation and subsequent oversight of a best practice PMO functional structure; processes and rules; tools; and resources across the EM region which aligns to the PMO global. The scope includes all programs and projects across business, service; and attributes of governance and fiscal responsibility at region and country levels.
Major Accountabilities:
- Ensure consistent implementation of the global PMO standards in Latin America & Caribbean and Central regions and associated countries.
- Coordinate with global and regional management and stakeholders to resource the PMO roles with experienced and effective talent, both in terms of capability and capacity.
- Expand and strengthen the current scope of PMO to include every project or initiative that meets the agreed characteristics and tenor of a "project".
- Provide thought leadership and direction on prioritization of projects; alignment to agreed strategic plan

- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive strategic program management experience across a variety of functional disciplines with a demonstrated track record of success in complex programs and projects.
- Experience in financial and budget management, organizational planning and performance management.
- Work experience in a large national or multinational company particularly in a matrix organization.

- Ability to work across organization boundaries and equally skilled/comfortable with conducting working sessions with reports as with presenting to executive management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present information concisely and drive decisions and action.

- Dynamic; able to empower and delegate effectively.
- Unquestionable integrity, ethics and standards.
- Mandatory fluency in English.
