Global multinational leader in its sector is searching for a senior profesional for a 6 month project in Madrid

The legal counsel Iberia is responsible for managing legal process of the Groups' companies in Iberia. The ideal candidate should have experience as legal counsel in a global organization. Client focused individual with excellent communication skills that can build and manage strong relationships with Groupe Agencies management and external legal advisors. The legal counsel Iberia should be involved in all major legal matters for the Group in Iberia to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and liaise with external legal advisors when necessary. The legal counsel is senior member of the Shared Service Center Management Team.
Job Responsabilities

" Assist the Iberia business units to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and manage key legal risks liaising with agencies legal advisors
" Appoint and manage external legal advisors
" Manage and implement costs savings on legal spend for all external legal and other professional advisors

QUALIFICATIONS:
" Legal generalist with wide experience in company, commercial and labour law
" Minimum 3 years experience at a senior level within an International Organisation or law firm
" Commercially focused with a strong client service approach.
" Confidence in dealing and building relationships both internally and externally.
" Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese would be a plus,
" High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
" Experience in the communication branch with expertise on advertising law and intellectual property is seen as desirable but not considered essential
